Damn, if I was Jeff I wouldnt be cool with that!
Kerry King was an asshole to me when I met him by the way. I was wearing a slayer shirt, only a kid and he didnt even look at me. It was at a signing in London.
Tom and Jeff shook my hand, it was when Dave just got back with them and he wasnt with them.
But yeah, my brother was behind me (he hates slayer, he was only going up with another one of my CDs to get it signed for me!) and he was wearing an Offspring t shirt and Kerry had a full blown conversation with him about how great Sum41 and the Offspring are! What a fag! haha
I did listen to the new tracks and I got them on my player already. :thumbsup:Quote:

No Dimegan though, and I know if he was still around, he'd be on the cover with them.
Not the first time I heard Kerry's a dick Markay. He's just a hateful dude and he's probably always been like that.
Offspring? Sum farty1? That's just gross. A part of me is dying here, so stop it you! ;) J/K
I will check out guitar world!
thanks :)
And I agree it sucks dimebag has gone :(
Even though Pantera were already split up, it means there is absoluty no chance of a reunion tour :(
Never got to see my favorite band
Oh well...
What can you do....
I didn't even spell Dimebag right. I surprised you even made that out! :p
I happened to catch Pantera at Ozzfest in 1999 and again on their Reinventing the Steel tour. Wicked, loud shit.
Lucky motherfucker! lol
Was it good? (stupid question really)
So what do you guy think of the new album....I heard it in it's entirety the other day and I think it's pretty damn good.
I love Cult it's probably my favorite song off the album...although the solo sounds strangly like the Raining Blood solo....but it's all good :D
Yes, it was one of the best shows I've seen. Loud as fucking hell, fire, and energy like I've never seen before.Quote:

its gotta be said, and im gonna get my ass kciekd by slayer fans but..
FUCK-SLAYER, honestly, im really not a fan.
bodom is cool. but yeah, slayer, not my thing, and alot of the fans are fucking self righteous nimrods(alot, not a majority, and not all, dont flame me).
where the hell is SPQR? or whatever his name is....the guy with the coprpsepaint avatar that listens to black metal. i cant believe hes missing a metal thread.
BUT, i do play the beggining of raining blood to warm up on guitar, just case it gets my picking hand warmed up with all those triplets. And oh yeah, bc rich is terrible.
Weird, I was just about to say that..
I am a HUGE metal fan, I listen to everything from black, death, progressive, power, classic, but I don't like Slayer. (Though I'm not too big of a thrash fan, soo..). Right now my favorites are ensiferum, finntroll, blut aus nord, nightwish, bathory, judas priest, testament, and opeth, but I also like stuff like AFI's older stuff, blue oyster cult, and queens of the stone age. But slayer just doesnt do it for me :/
Yes, I agree, some of the fans are quite out there, but it's their thing. Slayer fans are original, and when I saw them on their GHUA tour in 2001, the fans were crazier than any fans I have ever seen. You don't see energy like you do at a Slayer show, the fans, the pits, everything!
I like them because they have stayed true to their music and haven't sold out, but, we all like different things, right. Like me, I can't stand Black Metal. I can make better music through my armpits. ;) Just playing. :)
