totally disagree here ive studied so many attributes of personality through experience to see that there is clearly certain traits to different races personalities. the reasons are pretty clear to see as they come from different countries which may have a different dominant religion, it may be in thier heritage or even affected by the weather or social conditions in thier country / family. these traits only stand out to most people when they come into a different country and you notice how different they behave in different situations.

People behave differently in different situations because they were raised differently. Had they been raised in the same social "ecology" as you have, they would tend to be much more like you. I've travelled and lived in several different countries that were quite different from that found in modern western societies, but the people were the same (albeit of different skin tone), except for cultural and sociological differences, which are clearly derived from the "nurture" side of the nature/nurture dichotomy.

i was referring to different races in the sense that ive noticed a trait in which most of them have that comes out in certain situations, an attribute to thier race.

That's a mefi thread about Ashkenazi Jews and their superior intellect, which contains some links to research into this matter. I don't generally buy that different ethnicities are genetically different in any meaningful way, but there's a good case for that being so with the Ashkenazi Jews and their intelligence, in that their survival depended on their intelligence; in a sense they were bred to be smart. I even have a little experience: my woman is an Ashkenazi-descended Jew, and she is damn smart, as is her entire family. It's not a win-win situation for them though: Ashkenazi Jews often have genetic deficiencies as a result of inbreeding in the past.

That's a damn good question and living in the area I live in, I've quite often wondered the same thing myself! :)

nope, you are wrong. the personalities are affected by the upbringing and culture, and also the history of that race. i am talking about on a purely genetic level where the only differences are physical and probably had more to do with the area of origin. ie a black kid raised by white parents in an all white community will probably act, speak and have a pretty different personality on someone from an all black community. religion has nothing to do with race or vice versa, that is something that is decided after birth. it isnt like someone just suddenly decides one day, well im going to start living my life based on these principles someone else set up for me. that deals with the parents. you are so wrong. im talking about genetic actual differences, not differences acquired after birth. and if you can prove to me, with some support ie the pbs thing i posted with loads of articles written by experts saying exactly what im saying now only sounding smarter there are personality or mental differences on the genetic level id love to see it.

i am an ashkenazi jew
1460 on the SATs in 7th grade
37 i think on the ACTs too
i am smart as fuck not to be cocky
but i am just like a normal kid no deficiencies here
if you looked at me you woulda thought i was a nice catholic boy

if you were so smart youd be better at lying about your scores. the act only goes up to 36 and about 20 people in the nation get that. just from the way you type you dont seem like a genius and if you were i hope youd be a little more humble. better luck next time:dance:

well i dont know about the ACT...
maybe it was a 31
the SAT scores are true... my parents never told me the ACT scores cuz she didnt want me makin fun of my brother or something
but i know it was high as shit
and just cuz i fuckin type this way does not mean shit about how smart i am.
