I'm not a christian, but at least I know that much.
You can't operate like this and lead a happy health life, willystylle. When I was miserable, I made everyone around me miserable. This harms your relationship with your friends, ...........and family.
I prayed for you last night. You may not believe,... but that changes nothing. You may not believe the Bible, But that is also irrelevant......
Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Love also doesn't fail, the recipient can't stop it. Fortunate for me, for I was able to recover the damage to my wife, from the years of my own selfishness.
HEAVEN AN EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY BUT MY WORD SHALL STAND FOREVER
That was a sweet point, willy style.
I failed to get that up there. You'll be Ok. It is wise to question and interact as you are. Proverbs, phrases that in a number of ways. Sure we've had scrapes, like I said elsewhere, we both walked away a little bloody. I'll tell you,.......... you are no idiot.
You like sparing with individuals, to sort things out, this forum is perfect. When you settle more into your own world view, you will be a powerful man!!
We must be very careful,.......Ok?....... if we claim to be wise, we become fools. That's one reason that I use examples of my own stupidity, any issue is just common to all us.
Good to see you, Willystylle

The Eastern Orthodox Church has two minor orders, those of reader and subdeacon. Candidates for ordination receive the clerical tonsure prior to being ordained by the laying on of hands to these minor orders.
For Roman Catholics, it is typically in the last year of seminary training that a man will be ordained to the diaconate, called by Roman Catholics in recent times the "transitional diaconate" to distinguish men bound for priesthood from those who have entered the "permanent diaconate" and do not intend to seek further ordination. Deacons, whether transitional or permanent, are licensed to preach sermons, to perform baptisms, and to witness marriages, but to perform no other sacraments. After six months or more as a transitional deacon a man will be ordained to the priesthood. Priests are able to preach, perform baptisms, witness marriages, hear confessions and give absolutions, anoint the sick, and celebrate the Eucharist or the Mass.
For Anglicans, a person is ordained a deacon once they have completed their training at a theological college. In most branches of the Anglican church, women can be ordained as priests, and in some, can be ordained a bishop. Anglican priests have to be at least 30 before they can be chosen to become a bishop.
A controversy in the Catholic church over the question of whether Anglican holy orders are valid was settled by Pope Leo XIII in 1896, who wrote that Anglican orders lack validity because the rite by which priests are ordained is not correctly performed.
The Methodist model is loosely based upon the Anglican model. In this scheme, an elder is ordained to word (preaching and teaching), sacrament (administering baptism and the Lord's Supper), and order (ordaining others), and a deacon is someone who is ordained to word and service.
Presbyterians also ordain (by laying on of hands) ministers of Word and Sacrament (sometimes known as 'teaching elders'). These ministers are regared simply as Presbyters ordained to a different function, but in practice provide the leadership for local Kirk Session.
Congregationalist churches implement different schemes, but the officers usually have less authority than in the presbyterian or episcopalian forms. Some ordain only ministers and rotate members on an advisory board (sometimes called a board of elders or a board of deacons). Because the positions are by comparison less powerful, there is usually less rigor or fanfare in how officers are ordained.

That's right beach, That's right.
There really is a spiritual impartation. Man, I wish you would see a prophet impart, and watch the person turn around and prophesy under a touch from God,.........speaking such encouragement to friends that I know struggle with something that the speaker does not. It's so strengthens everyone, sometimes there is not a dry eye. I know also that the ordained, or touched individual doesn't know my friends hassle. The Lord always keeps the persons privacy.
Proverbs 25:2
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
This is something I have adored about Him, for a long time.
When I travel I love to find "Vineyard" churches. So many operate this way.

When I met my ex-g/f, the first weekend that she came to the beach, after going to a bar and getting really drunk, an ordained minister (who we met at the bar he lives behind), from the backseat of my car, put his hands on our heads, said some kind of elongated prayer, then said, "(You're married.) I gotta go."
The weird thing is, is that, though we no longer have sex, we're still roommates.
I wonder what kind of bond he placed on us.

Well, it was a local bar, and, most people at the bar were from the neighborhood that it was in front of. He asked random people, his age or older, what his nickname was and why he was called "Rev". So, I believe him when he said that he was an ordained minister.
The reason why I put "You're Married" in parenthesis was because I can't remember what he said, just, the "I gotta go" part. Drunk-driving.
We should've broken up a long time ago, yet, we're still together. We fought daily and had sex daily for five years. After four and half, she stopped smoking (Pot) and then we stopped having sex, eventually.
I don't remember anything about it. But, she was a virgin until I met her, maybe he knew and wanted her to stay with me.

I just have a few minuites before flight. It seems that you still have a question, or at least some kind of concern as it relates to God's view of you two.
This was intrusive, and I question his sense of entitlement to do this. My view, but I'm sure the view of many others with any sense. The spoken words that God would recognize here would primarily be any vows that the two of you would consent and agree to.
Some may speak a word based in His truth, but, if it is not received than it's influence, is diminished. A good example: Promises from God, are for the peace that we could enjoy before the time and season before the blessing materializes. The blessing is still there, but it's completion may not be realized.
An interesting look at spoken words, that has always facinated me, is in Numbers 30. Notice that it specifically relates to daughters, the son is not mentioned. He specically has the authority to free daughters from a rash vow.
Number 30
3"Also if a woman makes a vow to the LORD, and binds herself by an obligation in her father's house in her youth,
4and her father hears her vow and her obligation by which she has bound herself, and her father says nothing to her, then all her vows shall stand and every obligation by which she has bound herself shall stand.
5"But if her father should forbid her on the day he hears of it, none of her vows or her obligations by which she has bound herself shall stand; and the LORD will forgive her because her father had forbidden her.
6"However, if she should marry while under her vows or the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself,
7and her husband hears of it and says nothing to her on the day he hears it, then her vows shall stand and her obligations by which she has bound herself shall stand.
I hope this finds you well, beach. It seems that the two of you, already have an emotional separation, but, there is something that is refered to as "soul ties", that I don't understand. You may want to Google that, and see what comes up. My understanding is very limited on this topic. There are many others more qualified to explain much of this. I wonder, beach if you might concider if more of a geographic separation would also be better. If your life is stagnant there, It would be my opinion that the separation would help you move on with your life,.....instead of losing more years, if thats the case.
I have brought up alot of things that has someone or somethings all tweeked. It's Ok let things play out. It could get very interesting. Plus, the kid could get free.
Concerning tormenting questions, I experienced something that had put questions in my mind. In some way similar to yours, of coarse the details are different. I have had some medical issues which are fine now, but, there was a season before they were resolved that I wondered If something that I experienced from the dark ones, could have had something to do with it. This passage, comforted me. That Gods ability to protect is greater than the enemies ability to reach.
God, will watch our back doors and windows, but, what we open the front door to, is allowed in by ourselves. God told me some time ago, that "what I allow, is allowed, What I disallow is disallowed.
This describes the protection, a metophor.
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day.
