How many times do people go to school stoned?
I used to be too scared to go to school high because I was way too paranoid. Everyone knew I was a stoner because I was very open about it, I would always speak my mind to any elder when they said stereotypical things about cannabis or cannabis users. But, this year and the 2nd semester of last year I went to school high 2-3 times a week when and if I had it. On average, I say I went to school high a 1/3 of the time.
To Toothpaste, I'm not exactly for minors that smoke (no offense to anyone who is, I'm only 18) but if they choose to do it, its up to them to keep up the grades, you know? Even kids who DON'T do drugs have struggles, pot never made me any more lazy when it came to homework. I never did it anyway...well...I did it, some of it....I was just an average student. I was like that before, I was like that during, but I won't be that way in college.
The smoke isn't a hinderance, its a blessin! We just gotta know how to use it, j00 know? Man, I'm really high right now, sorry I'm so preachy!

I used to go to school stoned about three times a week. My best friend and I would just dip out for lunch and come back high. Our classes used to be right next to eachother and I'd always see him in there trying to focus when I knew he was high just like me.

pretty true about the whole get bored talk to other ppl, but i think if ur stoned at school and actually have the ability to pay attention and comprehend the lesson, you prolly just arent baked enough.

Woo hoo, sitting around in class baked, laughing and accomplishing nothing is awesome. Fuck med school, I think I'll just work at the 7-11 for the rest of my life. Its a good thing I have the money to waste on being high in class, oh wait I don't. I'd rather save the weed to listen to music when I get home, or hanging out with friends.

Fuck, if you can smoke and get your shit done, more power to you. That's not being stupid. Through most of high school I came to school ripped outta my mind, but now that the college thing is kickin' in, I find it's a lot easier to just wait a couple hours until after class to toke up. I could easily get high and still ace all my classes, but it's not really all too enjoyable of a high, and to me, I GOTSTA enjoy my weed. Being stuck in some classroom high out of my gourd isn't exactly my idea of a good time.

8+ is the top of the scale? Shit. I must have gotten high in school 200-300 times. The first time I went to school high was in the 8th grade. I was high pretty much every day of my junior and senior year.
That was back in the mid 80's though and I think the schools had a lot more relaxed attitude about it back then. Nobody had ever heard of schools doing drug tests and the attitude seemed to be "let the stoners be stoners". At least out in California.
Contrary to what toothpaste100 may think, I don't work in 7-11 now. After school, I went to college, got my degree(graduating with honors) and now have a professional job in the semiconductor industry. What is more important is how an individual applies themself. Somebody who is going to make it in life will do it, whether or not they get high in school. Somebody who will fail in life will fail, whether or not they get high.

I never smoked and attended classes. I gotta kind of side with toothpaste...school is for school. Yeah, some of us handle herb differently and can perhaps shoulder the responsibility, but alot of people can't. I had friends that constantly went to classes high. Then they'd be at my room 4 hours later asking for a $20 and for me to type their papers...chaching, chaching, CHACHING!! For a while, I even had a sign on my door that read, "Slacker Services LTD." b/c that's who came to me...the slackers who wanted to smoke and just be 'babysat' in class...never mind the fact they weren't actually making the grades. So my thing was, hey, I was making my grades, why pass up a chance to make an extra $150.
But yeah, never been a big fan of going to classes while weeded. Did plenty of homework and papers while blunted, but that was about it.
