With your leaf problem, it's a natural thing if they go yellow first, starting with the lower leaves. These are no longer needed by the plant and the nutrients are transported to where they are needed.
As for light, when trying to promote flowering, any light within that crucial twelve hour period can cause the plant to sense that it should be in the vegetative state, even a flash of a strobe light. Although this may not be a problem if it only occurred once or twice. Not moonlight or stars, generally because there would not be enough light and it would probably not be in the right spectrum anyway. However, a full moon may present an interesting study.
Should be no need to remove leaves, as the plant needs these to photosynthesize,i.e, at this stage, make bigger flowers.
I would fertilize up to two weeks before harvest. Then even consider starving them of water if in soil or similar growing media. Bit harder to do this with hydro, wouldn't like to ruin your crop.

Ya, just keep it up. And the leaves will do there thing. I cut them off after most of the leaf is dead. I would start feeding it some flower nutes.
I suggest Pure Blend Pro Bloom for soil.
As far as a name...maybe Skunk Dog#1. lol I'll think of another name.

since many have heard me rant in here about stray light not affecting your plants during their dark hours, I decided to post this, just to show I'm a little less crazy than some imagine :D ...
yesterday while thumbing thru my copy of Mel Frank's Deluxe Marijuana Grower's Guide, 1997 edition ... I accidentally came across this: " the amount of light needed to prevent flowering is quite small (about .03 foot candles - on a clear night, the full moon is about .01 foot candles). However, each plant must be illuminated fully, with the light shining over the whole plant " ...
OK, what I mean to illustrate by this is, yes, you want the dark hours dark, and uninterrupted ... BUT, sometimes I see new growers that are frantic about sealing up an airtight cabinet, etc ... its just not something to worry about ... a clear, full-moon evening is almost bright enough to read by, yet it is only 1/3 of the light required to affect your plants, and then, only IF they are bathed in that light over their entire structure ... yes, keep it DARK, but don't stress yourself over it ... hope that explains why I frequently say " what?, isn't there a moon and stars in your world ? " ... :D

Ok I see what your saying. And I agree. It does take a good amount of light to mess them up. But, some people let a crap load of light in there grow room. Plus I think indoors is a little more sensative to light in the dark period. Do to the sun being so much more powerful I think indoor light makes a MJ plant a little more sensitive to this. But barely. My hermies were not from a light leak but from unstable genes.

never stress about anything... anything... its far easier to just breath...
keep your plants in total darkness during flowering... for 12 hous .. uniteruppted..
lower your PH....
post a picture....

Hi my friend I bought some flower nutes and i gave them the first portion yesterday. ( not Pure Blend Pro Bloom cause im not in US and i couldnt find that in my country ).
The browning leaves are the top fan leaves so i dont know if i should cut them, but im going to post some pictures this afternoon so you could see the problem for yourself. As for the name its your decision whatever you like no prob.
Thanks :) :) :)
