I used to be pretty impressed with charts showing THC percentages% ... but, then, I read where they measured the THC as compared to overall weight ... in other words ... the same bud, measured both straight off the plant, and also measured after manicuring ... naturally, the manicured bud had %percentages much higher than the untrimmed bud ... I don't know if that is how all tests are done, but I just stick by the old truth: "forget the fancy names, and statistics ... how does it SMOKE ???" ... besides, there's more than just THC affecting the high ... for the record, I'm an old dirt farmer ... :smokin:

It's mostly been said but I'll put my 2c in ...
I prefer soil/bio .. one needs room ( like a yard or farm ) to mix soil, clean pots ... have a nice worm setup ... worm poop rulz! .. heh
hydro with co2 and good lights will out produce all other indoor methods
but one will have to learn about slime, PH ,,, etc .. once u get it
down its real easy ... just science
using AK and some other strains one can get incredible yelds ..
I like outdoor growing the best .. but haylass I can't do that so I grow in soil indoors, guess I like getting my hands dirty .. heh .. :smokin:

I use Coco Peat (sorta like soil) and over them I have 600w HPS. I get great yeilds. I use the essential nutrients that one would use for hydro. Dunt know why I dont use hydro, cant be fucked setting it up i guess, might one day, plus im worried i will flood the house, we have nice carpet in our house lol

Hydro u fools! haha besides if your lazy, there all the same maintanence. if gotta get rid of soil and u need to change a resavior. There just what u prefer, i like hydro, soil isnt something i ever got into and hydo yeah it seems to grow more in less time. But from a day to day perspective soil is easier. This isnt an true or false answer becuase there isnt one. I can say it depends on your level of encitement. This is something i take great intreast and releases increasing amounts of stress. So when i boogie with hydro i love to be in complete control of my crop. Not to put down soil growers and that they dont care abotu growing becuase thats obvously not true, some people prefer soil and take just as many mesures as hydro, but most dont. It's whats accessible to you and what fits your life style.

I'm currently on my 4th soil grow, I chose soil because the common concencus that I saw at the time was that soil was easier for a beginner. I'm glad I chose soil because it's been tough enough but I don't have an easy place to dispose of my dirt and its becoming a HUGE pain in the ass. I also do not want to depend on someone to water my plants when I go on vacation so I'm faced with the option of getting an automatic watering thing and realistically only being able to keep a mom alive, or going hydo and taking a risk leaving it for a week and having a pump go or something...but stand a good chance of it being just fine. So I plan to switch to hydro after 2 or 3 more soil grows...I'm still learning

Hydro or aero. No doubt. For beginners get an Emily's Garden DWC-type set up. Awsome results with minimal effort or learning. Way better than dirt, oh excuse me, soil, and not really any more difficult. Just different.

^^^^ agreed, i think the level difficulty is the same its just a different grow. Different supplies, different issues. I find hydro to be best becuase of the growth rate and yeild.

Bubbling buckets is by far the easiest hydroponic setup, and I believe that hydroponics yeild better and faster. I don't know much about hydroponics and cannabis, but as far as what I have seen and done, its true. Here is a picture of my hydro-sunflower compared to my other sunflowers and herbs (all planted at the same time).
First picture is 8 days into hydro. Second hydro plant now, third is my soil plants with excelect nutrients. The soil is about half as tall as the hydro and the hydro has massive roots/stems.
