I'm about half way through George Orwell's 1984. After this I'm probably going to check out some Chuck Palahniuk because I heard he was good...
I'm reading She Got Up Off the Couch by Haven Kimmel. It's a sequel to her first book, A Girl Named Zippy. Both books are about a young lady who grew up in small-town Indiana, and she just writes funny stories about her childhood adventures. In the first book, her mom, who tended to be sort of sedentary, sat on the couch nearly all the time, reading. She titled the second book the way she did because in it, her mom got up and went back to college.
