Smoking with matches ?

Here's what I would do, if you have any long wooden sticks like chopsticks or wooden skewers.

Light the candle with the matches, then get the end of the wooden stick burning enough so you have a small flame, then light the bud with that. It should burn down after a few seconds, but I always have some sand to put it out in. Just relight the wooden stick every time you hit instead of wasting all those matches.

It can work, but it can piss you off if it doesn't light good.

I've had to smoke bowls using matches. It sucked.

I'd advise against smoking with matches. Aside from being inefficient, the exhaust from the fuel gets into your smoke and can make your throat sore. Butane is less dense than the smoke produced from matches so it tends to evaporate quicker and escape upwards faster.

I'm no scientist, based on some college classes, reading over the years, and personal experience.

matches are fine theres no diference in the "fumes" from butane and wood... its just that the butane burns hotter and more efficintly..meaning less carbon is produced...thats all the sulphur is gone once the match is burning regularly... matches are just annoying to use with bongs/pipes cause once your stoned they dont work, you either inhale too hard or your exhale on them before your hit....but if you get bored you can have more funn with matches than with a lighter..
