CS has needed to die since it went retail. When it was in beta 5 through beta 7 it was the best because a bunch of dumbass kids hadn't gotten a hold of it. Lately, I've been playing oldschool games, and found a decent Maniac Mansion copy. Also, if you want a mindless FPS, as already mentioned, you can not go wrong with BF:2
Farcry was great. A bit outdated, maybe its on sale.
Best ps2 game: God of war. That is on sale 19.99 at target I think
Oblivian looks like the best pc game, as far as graphics go.
Don't know much about mmorpg? Can anyone recommend one to check out?
The only fps I play is Unreal Tournament...it's the only game I have...
but I like it...been playing it for years now.

CS sucks, don't know why anyone liked it,when CS came out i was to busy play real games Like Mohaa and COD.

off topic but just wanted to tell peeps instead of using the keyboard to play your games, theres a usb adapter for the pc that lets you use your ps2 controller. heard many good things bout it especially for roms, as the pc controllers wont let you play certian games. anyway its called super dual box pro.

Source is the NEWB version of counter-strike. Fuck Source. There are more 1.6 tournaments, and 1.6 is a million times better then source. When the Counter Strike Pro Mod (or whatever it's called, I'm baked and forget, but the new cs with better graphics then 1.6 with the same physics engine, which is why source sucked so much). All the newbs play source, all the more skilled players play 1.6..... Ok I'm done with my rant... with a sudden urge to play more 1.6 (after playing for 5 hours today already).Quote:
