and i've always used a cup or so of water (depending on pan size) and tossed that into the butter/bud mixture while it saute's so when done one can peal off the fat layer (fat floats on water) on the surface and toss the rest...no one else does it this way? it saves a shitload on straining and makes for a very easy to handle piece of fatty thc!
yea, I started adding water the second time I did it, but I strained the mush out before I let the butter come to rest on top of the waste. I still had a little shake in the butter, but the cookies still tasted awesome.
but did they get your burnin? my goal is to have one brownie to make you MESSED up
it got me lifted but not flat out stupid. Next time I do it, i'm gonna simmer the butter longer and use a cloth to strain out every drop of moisture. I also made little cookies last time because I was in a hurry for them to cook. Had to eat a few to fell anything.
Any update?
I want to try this sometime.
