My bro's mate's dad (same guy who's mum went to college with Frank Skinner) got his band name ripped off my Linkin Park. They were in a band called Linkin Green (a green is like a park over in merry ol' England) and were getting quite well known, well they split up and I don't know the details of what happened but they didn't copyright the name (as they weren't signed or anything) then a while afterwards they started hearing about a band called "Linkin Park."

Now I wasn't told the full details about it all and how Linkin Park had anything to do with that guy's band, Linkin Green, but it's a true story. The guy was going to take them to court for it (and for money) but as the name wasn't copywritten it would just be a waste on money hiring lawyers and such.
