Grow Log - AcousticStoner420 - 1ST GROW
Whats up guys... A couple days have passed since my last entry, but my plants are doing wonderfully (except for one) Unfortunately the third lil guy that i transplanted from the first small pot slipped out of my fingers and out of the pot, i put her back in but im not sure if she will recover... a rookie mistake for sure. :( The other two are strong and healthy as can be. Their third tier of leaves are almost done and setting up for the fourth (on both plants). WILL HAVE A PIC UPDATE TOMORROW! :rasta:
A big question coming into the end of this week...
SHOULD I TRANSPLANT NOW??? NEXT WEEK??? WHEN???
-Any help on this question would be kick ass right now, i need to know soon, before i end up damaging and killing my plants. HELP!
For now they are strong and healthy and look GREAT. Please help me in my quest for some of my very own, homegrown.
Stay UP :rasta:

Ummm.... transplant... when was the last time you transplanted?
Transplant when you seem fit... I would think ;)
Grow Log - AcousticStoner420 - 1ST GROW
If there are roots coming out of the bottom then you need to transplant pretty fast.
Also if you notice the growth has stopped - this usually is because there is no more root space to grow. A Transplant will also help with this problem.

Day 11 UPDATE: My first two beautiful plants are doing wonderfully. Now i have to transplant them both to bigger pots... Im concerned they will grow out of these pots either today, or tomorrow, and i want to make sure they will not be hurt in this process. Im nervous as shit when it comes to transplanting, i love my ladies.
Plant #1: Lookin good to me, Nice lush green leaves, and its five pointers are starting to come in! :D
Plant#2: This one is a little further ahead of the first it is starting to make room for its second set of five pointer leaves. The strongest and healthiest to me.
Plant #3: Well its still there... still growin, slowly...
TRANSPLANTING :smokin: :
I am going to go ahead and transplant my two ladies into much bigger pots so they can get the room they need and the new nutrients in the soil. They need room for their roots to be able to stretch and gain strength. I mean, honestly, its either now or in 24 hours...

Whats up everyone, im finishing up on Day 13 of my grow. I transplanted my plants yesterday, and i have had no set back at all. Within hours they were stretching and showing growth. When i removed the first pots when i was tranplanting the root system was nice and strong all around the cup.

2. Plant #2: This guy now transplanted is growing very nicely.
3. Plant #1: The leaves on this plant are very large, kinda unique... anyone else have this???
4. Plant #2: The Five Finger leaves are starting to show nicely.
5. Plant #3: This 3rd little guy is finally starting to make his recovery! :D

What's up AC420, determining the strain right now is impossible mate, unless it has very significant characteristics, you can't even determine the strain when you flower.
But, on the other hand, you can know which family the plant is from. I'm guessing Indica plants here, since the leaves are wide and the propagation of the second set of branches comes quite low. This means you'll probably have a small, bushy plant. But again, telling the strains gonna be hard.
Upcoming weeks take steady feeding and root development. This is why an 18/6 light schedule is better for seedlings than clones. The seeds need darkness to root.
Also, I've noticed you wanted to repot? This is a good idea, and now is about the time to do it, maybe wait another day.
Now if you're afraid of repotting, which I was too in the beginning, there's a good alternative for root propagation. Look at the pic, when you cut out the bottom of your current pot, and place it into a bigger pot, filled with the same soil, the roots will grow through the earlier pot into the bigger pot, since they always search for space, wether it's downwards or sideways, heck even upward.
The roots growing through into the bigger pot, will certainly make the seedlings bigger, since a longer rooting system equals a longer stem. Don't take a pot that is too big, or too small, stay within the shown proportion. ;) good luck!

What up Harvesthetic, thx for the help and advice with my grow... I do continue a controlled 18/6 light schedule. :) Although on the repotting... i may have forgotten to mention that i repotted yesterday, so when i do need to repot i will do that method you proposed, but i really dont think tomorrow will have to be that day... do you???
Thx for the help on the strain too, i guess that will be a never-ending mission to find out what the fuck im really smoking, but as long as it is the best i can do i will be satisfied... thx again... :rasta:

Haha you did mention it man ;) sorry. And no, of course don't repot now :D But yeah, this method kicks ass though, and causes not as much stress as transplanting.

:stoned: Hey Harv, how could i do a SCRoG for my two plants? Do you think its possible, i just want to generate the most bud with a 3' plant idealy. But i like the SCRoG idea, but i was thinking maybe it would be better to try on another grow, seeing as this is my first one... But anyway are u tryin to hook up that SCRoG info if u think it can be done... Nicely done on yours by the way
