explain to them that salvia is legal to posess however smoking it is not tolerated if you are caught smoking salvia the cop will, and can take it away from you so this kind of defeats the whole "salvia is legal so you can smoke it anywhere" thing
but yeah it is a very interesting herb
Chris I am under the impression that you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. The only things that you mentioned that was correct were that it is legal and that you should not do it in a room of crowded people.
However your point about why you should not do it in a room of crowded people is completely incorrect.
The reason for not doing salvia in a busy location is because it TRIPS YOU OUT. Like any drug that makes you trip(shrooms, acid, etc.) it is not smart to do at a party or around a bunch of people you dont know because you more than likely will have a bad trip.
Now, where you are really wrong, salvia is NOTHING at all like pot. There are no ifs ands or buts about it, they do completely different things, it doesnt matter who you are. Salvia gives you an extremely strong trip and even can cause hallucinations.
I have been doing Salvia around 4 years. Sometimes a few beers can take that scary edge off of the experience. I have seen drunk people do it and have a great time with a full level 5 and when they came down they were sober. I have seen a lot of people do it at parties and have fun. I prefer to do it at home though and not often either.
Man, Chris, do you know what extract you've been smoking? It go's all the way up to 80x. I ain't never tried that strong an extract and i don't think i ever will.
Salvia is like a complete loss of perception of reality, you wouldn't be able to smoke it at a party and continue to keep on smoking it. (although i know a guy who smokes the stuff like it was pot).
Your friends who smoked it at that party must have had no clue what they we're doing with it, it only takes one small toke to fuck up your world. I'd do it more often if it didn't make my pipes smell like dead fish.

I like the smell of salvia, I smoke it like pot now that I have quit smoking pot.
It does fuck with my mind though. I will notice that I will see little things, things that aren't there, while I am in everyday situations. And it spooks me, for instance, when riding my bike I jumped and skidded and fell because I though somebody was in front of me. Nobody was there :(

yea salvia is definately not illegal. i recently baught a gram of 20x extract for 40 bucks from a headshop. i tried a little bit but im gonna wait to try its full effects
