Question (probably, for old timers)
They make more money it being illegal, think of the bouncers of a club, confiscating much drugs, yet you can still find em in the club, almost harder to find sum1 without pills, thats wierd aint it? What do the DEA (and whoever is the british equivalent) do with all those drugs I keep hearing em intercepting at international borders and ports?

Damn right they make money! Court fines, court costs, lawyer fees, AODA fees, whatever other fees your state may impose not to mention the resale of confiscated goods during the busts. To bad they just don't realize that a tax on marijuana would be more cost effective!

I think that it goes a lot further then that. I think that weed gets are real bad time because you have a lot "hippy hating" baby boomers out there on capitol hill that are still "punishing" the hippies for all the shit that went down in the 60's / early 70's. I also think that in the long run the whole argument over weed will die out as the old farts are replaced with the younger crowd that really doesn't care about it, and the policies will change.
It needs to hurry up too, as weed is hard to find at times, and here in Mississippi I STILL have not found anyone that I can go to, and still relying on M.O.M. to get me through these dry times...
Anyone in Hattiesburg Mississippi that can help a brother out? :D

You guys forgot the biggest Pothead player of all time: Randy Moss, who even admitted in an inverview that he recreationally smokes marijuana in the off-season, then cleans up to pass the drug tests. That guy, is a total pothead.

Former Cowboy Mark Stepnoski tackles new role -- leading the charge for marijuana reform!

And lets not forget Nate Newton...sitting out a 5 yr. sentence for transporting 213 pounds of smoke! I do believe we should all take a toke for good ol' Nate!!

I think we all know the answer to this one Beachguy. There is not one documented case of someone "hitting rock bottom" because of smoking pot. It's almost always booze, coke, meth, painkillers, etc or a combination of those drugs. Much like there has never been one documented overdose on pot. As far as I know, alcohol related auto accidents is still the number one killer of teenagers in this country.
As for the reference to the "hippie hating baby boomers" I think that most of them are just trying to hide from their past because a lot of the people in power were hippies and have essentially "sold their souls" for money and power.

LOL, I'm sorry for making you type that. But, at least, now it's in print. :smokin:
