Yeah... it was a mid-engined V6... ok, who built that engine? It wasn't one company... it was three. The engine code is PRV6...

True. Lotus is a kick-ass engineering company.

They designs/engineered the 1990's Bugatti safety systems (ABS, airbags, etc.)

Who owns Lotus now... isn't it Petronas? The F1 company that has petroleum companies and stuff?

Lotus is now owned by Proton headquartered in Malaysia.

Also its ironic that they designed the Z1 engine because their more recent cars use engines from other companies. Like the Elise/Exige comes with a Rover/Ford engine in europe and a Toyota engine in North America.
