lol well they all sound the exact same so you cant argue with me that that category shouldnt have subcategories. right. other ones could though i mean theres a lot of different types of rock, ill admit that.

they shouldent but they do... its like when i told my friend that all the bands he listens to are emo and hes like no they arnt they are <insert brand of shitty music here> thats when i found out emo is an actual music genre now when the fuck did that happen? Ive been using it for a long time as a term for emotional rock that soft shitty and otherwise crappy

i am a fan of progressive house, acid, big beat break, jungle DnB, chicago house, tribal house, chill, and deep house

Thanks for clearing that up for me man. I have started refraining from using the term techno several months ago (maybe longer), when I realized that none of what I listen to is actually techno, it is all house, trance, and their different forms. Now I know to tell people who tell me that techno sucks that they simply don't know what they are talking about because I don't ever listen to techno and they've got the wrong perspective on the entire electronica genre.
