to kingkongbong: yea I backcomb it and no I dont have any loops that I see so far....

I've been doing it the natural way... no beeswax, no honey or whatever that shit is... I just wash it less frequently (no conditioner and residue free shampoo) My hair naturally kind of matted up and then I palm-rolled it together. It's been tedious, but it's an experience for me.

yeah, I liked my old hair too, but I'm young and I want some fuckin dreads haha... then I'll cut them and grow out my old hair again later.

I disagree with Spicoli. I think dreads can look great on women if done correctly. Don't know how much research you have done on them, but if you go to www.knottyboy.com they have some good info and products. I have always wanted to try dreads, but alas I have a professional job so it will never happen, so I must live vicariously through those that do. I say go forth and dread!

I'd get dreads if I had longer hair, and wasn't lazy. I get bored with my hair a lot though so I'd end up cutting it all off like a week later.

you should of just stoped brushing your hair and just stuffed it all up in a tam the natural way is the only way its been 6 months since i quit brushing my hair and i got like some dreads forming of all diffrent sizes
