Making Shorts eh? Some amazing feets have been pulled off with very little cash.But in general the starting price is 5-10 grand[Quality camera essential] The most important thing is the script/screen play whatever you want to callit....But if you can right a screen play worth making into film....you should sell it and not bother shooting it yourselves...Unless you really want to make it ..in which case you can ask a studio to read your script....good luck ...keep writing...You stoners can no dought come up with new and different shit

Haha thanks for the tips, but its not even like that.The only reason I'm writting this screenplay it to be part of the filming and editing process in the long run.And I don't even plan on selling sheeit, well not any time soon atleast.

Without offending...you probably won't..NOBODY sells their first screenplay...Writing one is an art that not everyone can do[look in your local cinema for evidence..lol]
It is more than just having a good idea for the plot...it's about pacing it and making it readable to the Script Reader/Agent, and not cliche. having an idea for a scene or a character that inspires you to want to expand it into a script is the easy part..the hard part is finding the rest of the material to expand the initial concept into a full , working, pacy,DIFFERENT screenplay...
So keep it up and you will see that practice makes perfect!

Yeah what you just told me makes total sense.In fact I'm trying to not get all guarilla about this.When I decided I wanted to get into this I was just thinking of selling screen plays and making money.I was just thinking of ideas and filming and editing and all that other jazz.
