do it man, they will have no reason to search you. keep everything else legit, don't do anything stupid, and no cop will ever have reasonal suspicion to even talk to you, let alone probable cause to search you. if one crosses the line and does it illegally, clam up, say nothing until you have an attorny , and pleade they violated your constitutional rights ;)

Im guessing if you enter from Northern California you won't have much of a problem at all, but if you enter near the south the border patrol gets a lot of Mexicans trying to transport brick weed and they'll be better trained to spot it.
