dude marley is the shit. but best band ever is phish. whoever posted about how they sold out the largest shows in the middle of no where is hella right. I think they played the largest concert in the known universe (no joke) I am a hippy though so my ideas are just a bit biased

Phish did set a similar record... The had the largest mellinium concert (New Years eve concert 1999->2000) out of all the shows that night... It was a Festival on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian reservation in the Everglades in Florida (USA). Imagine 80,000 fans driving down to the Everglades (which is basically a unihabitable SWAMP!!) to see ONE band play, Phish!
That Everglades show they came on stage riding thru the crowd on a giant hotdog, at 11:45 pm December 31, 1999 and played all night long... no breaks song after song, until dawn at 7:00 am January 1st, 2000.. all night set after one set earlier that day and three sets the day before, December 30,1999... Pretty jamming band..
Pink Floyd trumps all bands..
