The problem with all this terminology is that the definitions are different in different regions. Every time I make a new connection and they start slinging bs terms I just ask them politely to just tell me the basic quality. Low, medium, or high. I try to keep from getting caught up in the cannabis culture language when possible. There is only one term that truly irritates me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. When people call good bud "Dro", no matter how it was grown, it almost makes my head implode. That actually makes my left eye twitch. LOL :jointsmile:

THANK YOU! I finally sound someone who hates that term as much as me. I used to buy from a guy who would always refer to his bud as dro, no matter what. I realized he was a moron when I bought some "Purple Kush" off him; biggest jack ever. Some asshole must have dropped his grow room temps to get the color, and this guy's claiming it's the bomb DROOOOO. I wanted to straight up murder his ass...

I actually think we should all use the terms from High Times magazines Trans-Market High quotes. Works for me.
Schwag = crap weed
Middies = Mid-grade smoke
Kind Bud = Primo stuff, high price and one toke stuff
Now, if I could just AFFORD some Kind... :jointsmile:

It really depends on the area you are from, and who you hang out with.
In my area (East Bay, Cali) its either:
Bammer: low quality
Bud: reg.
Dank: good shit
Club: top qual- usually straight from the club

Nicks are usually however much they dealer wants to give you for 5 bucks, which it usually less then a gram. Same for the dime=10 bucks, still usually less than a gram. Smallest quantity most people buy is an 1/8th its pretty standard.

Old Timey Stuff:
Back in the day (Think Dazed and Confused, the 70's), as long as what ya got measured up it was:
1/4 ounce = a nickel bag and it was five bucks.
1/2 ounce = a dime bag and of course, it was ten bucks.
3/4 ounce = a lid - 15 bucks
1 Ounce = an O Z and that was twenty bucks.
Of pretty nice weed. The Columbians and Panama's, etc. went for just a little higher, as well as you, getting a little higher off the stuff. :jointsmile:
Gee, just think, getting an entire bag of weed for twenty bucks. Most dealers just "fingered", i.e. two fingers is half an OZ, four a whole OZ, and if he was generous, FIVE fingers for the same price of an ounce.
I miss the good old days... a little... :thumbsup:
