It needs to be people with wasting illness, lawyers, doctors and the like who protest.Legalize it for medicinal reasons first and foremost and the rest will fall in to place.
you are the best for screaming and crying...sometimes the greatest mind need to evolve from the weakest...so doing nothing is also worthless...but if you read well through the net, a lot of those doctors lawyers and all that bunch are writing documents about the good legalizing would do...still nothing changes so the whole community must wake somehow...and i don't know if you smoke but it's not only silly kids protesting about it...yes there are some but like in any manif...so stop posting stupid demoralizing comments, you're not helping neither...

why would I be here if I didn't smoke??
anyway, all the protesting thats been done has been largly in-effective hasn't it. Perhaps it's time to try something a little different. I want marijuana to be legal as much as anyone believe me. I just think alot of those marches and protests make the movement look childish and irresponsible. Think about it.

How did any of the major changes in our country happen? They happend when there was a majority of the people supporting it, and doing what they can to make sure the laws that are needed are passed. By waiting for the next person do do something, whats going to stop the person after you to do the same. If we all speak out as one voice, and work togeather, not as a bunch of kids, but as an organization to speak out against the laws in effect today, alot more can come then if we let "the next person do it"
It is going to take time, yes, but our government needs a kick in the ass sometimes to get shit done, and let this be the kick in the ass, and a step in the right dirrection. I think the most influential people out there is the voice of the young adults. We are going to be the ones running the country, shouldnt it be us that get the laws in effect so that our kids, and future generations can thrive from them?
And let this not be just another small organization, let this be like a country, and each of the little organizations out there, annex themselves in, join forces, and lets press ideas around, there still is plenty of time till everything takes place, so let this be the time to get things planned out, and let the voice spread.
I like the ideas that are coming up, and i like the support i am getting for this idea, but i feel things are still on to small of a scale. If there is anyone that is good at creating a webpage, contact me at [email protected], send me some work, and lets get a webpage going, I am lacking time to do it myself, so the help will be greatly appriciated.
Five more months, Lets see how much we can get out to the people, And Please Get The Word Out, and do your part in your community to support this.

Okay, so what about creating an organization with this web site, that is cannabis.com... i mean we all want, somehow, pot to be legal or decriminalize, or people not to go to jail for simple posession...Like there is a lot of us that are not child anymore and we live in several countrys around the world...
i will try to make a suggestion to the admisnistrator, not sure if it will be of any interest...will post my feedback in a new thread for those interested...

It's an awesome idea. The problem is that the first police officer to see me will have no choice but to charge me with it, and I can't afford a "second offense" charge. This is something I just found...notice that it says 1979.
Virginia Lawbooks
§ 18.2-250.1. Possession of marijuana unlawful.
A. It is unlawful for any person knowingly or intentionally to possess marijuana unless the substance was obtained directly from, or pursuant to, a valid prescription or order of a practitioner while acting in the course of his professional practice, or except as otherwise authorized by the Drug Control Act (§ 54.1-3400 et seq.).
Upon the prosecution of a person for violation of this section, ownership or occupancy of the premises or vehicle upon or in which marijuana was found shall not create a presumption that such person either knowingly or intentionally possessed such marijuana.
Any person who violates this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and be confined in jail not more than thirty days and a fine of not more than $500, either or both; any person, upon a second or subsequent conviction of a violation of this section, shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
B. The provisions of this section shall not apply to members of state, federal, county, city or town law-enforcement agencies, jail officers, or correctional officers, as defined in § 53.1-1, certified as handlers of dogs trained in the detection of controlled substances when possession of marijuana is necessary for the performance of their duties.
(1979, c. 435; 1991, c. 649; 1998, c. 116.)
And after realizing medical marijuana has been legal since 1979, they changed it.

You dont have to be smoking pot to be protesting it. There is many other ways to get the message accrost, but as long as if its an act of protest, you are protected under the consitution.
