I want to preface my comment by saying that chuck palinuik's fight club is certainly an exception.

Chuck Palinuik works on fucking shock factor alone. He can't come up with a decent story line so he just crams as much gruesome shit into his novels as he possibly can. And this is not some uneducated statement. I gave him more than a chance by suffering through three more of his novels after reading (and enjoying fight club.) What ever talent he had in him was used up after his first novel. He's just writing to collect a paycheck now.

There are too many great books out there to waste time on that hack. And I mean HACK! I don't use that word lightly.

Whoa, Das Boot used the word hack. -backs up- I've never seen him use that word lightly guys.

Anyway, I disagree with you.

my fave book is Ender's Game by Orson Scott card. And it's probably only my favorite book because I just read it last week and my favorite book is usually my most recently read book.

I like reading about the ''Shadow Government", ''drug'' experiences, philosophy, and poetry/music lyrics if that counts. Anything you might not hear everyday is interesting.

I don't know of any books that a stoner might enjoy, the ones I know(in real life) don't read. Some people may enjoy The Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley. Although it is not about marijuana. Maybe various books about the true face of government may be of interest.
