WTF Am i Doing worng? Pleasehelp me out with this shit

OK, I have to comment even though topic was well covered by my bud bud, Harddon
!st the bag method is not H's, but the correct method, or second stage of drying/curing, after you dry it for a week...
The method I use is the same, but I want to say...when you hang your plants in the dark during the first week, the fan should NOT be POINTED at the plants, but angled at the wall or something, so that the plants get an indirect breeze, this keeps them from drying too fast and drying out! then when you can snap a medium sized stem
you put them in paper bags, as H has said, and open them once or twice a day to allow air in for the purpose of keeping your stash from getting moldy...
After a week or two when they seem dry and scrunchy(for lack of a better word,)
put them in mason jars (airtight) stash them in the dark! (Light kills THC) and open jars every day for 20-30 minutes.
As I said before; If you want the best possible taste and smoothness, you MUST be PATIENT, and stay out of your stash! You will be thankful for the wait, in a month or so...Sorry for the Rant, but I thought I could clarify all the good info here.

Man it would be hard for me to wait a month.. I plan on buying 1/2 ounce to hold me ove until it dries.. I know I would be tempted to smoke.. gotta be patient

Not that this really applies, but I find that no N in final 2-3 weeks of flower really sweetens both overall smell and taste. I have a strain (commercial) that if sealed or bagged too early, will taint the smell. But, doesn't really effect the taste. The second step, slow drying in paperbags, (I use boxes from the office supply) is the most crucial for smell(imo).
