Bird seed in Europe is generally Turkish. I thought most of it was supposed to be sterilized, at least the USA does that with their "hartz mountain singing bird seed".
That is no doubt cannabis. The leaf is long and slender indicating at least dominant Sativa. It has no flowers yet? The pungent smell is always present, that is it is in the hemp stringy breeds as well as the high THC breeds. If it was Turkish imported bird seed you will have some pretty fine smoke.
This is common in the UK and Germany by the way. I even saw it grown as an ornimental by an unknowing gardener, just as opium can be seen seeping from Grannies gardens.

Dont smoke it now, leave the leafs. Wait for flowers, see if it is male or female at least. And get the damn bugs off them! Maybe you can have a fine smoke this Christmas!
