you should get a pipa instead. i think that's one of the coolest instruments, including guitar, drum, etc.
have you ever seen hero with, jet li? if you have seen it and remember the first fight between jet li and the other asian dude...anyway the old man playing the music for them, the instruement he's using is the pipa.
