I'm not Jewish, but I think somewhere in the Torah the Jews are supposed to get their "homeland" (Jerusalem) back, but through divine intervention, not by the British empire. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Its interesting to note that after the Holocaust many Jews wanted to come to America, but encountered firece anti semitism from all sectors of society.
