End of the world
i choose the second option. even if im an activism if there A METEORITE GOIN STRAIGHT TO EARTH i doubt it will change something even if 6 billions of humans are like: "we dont want any meteorite" lol
i guess the army and gov may have the power to destruct it with nukes, but not me :)
i think im just gonna smoke a bowl and wait :D

End of the world
Cleaning the planet won't stop an asteroid from hitting us.
And a meteor probably wouldn't destroy the planet, you're thinking of an asteroid.
-
End of the world
i wasnt really talking about a giant meteorite i was more talking about the desrtuction that we have done to our planet thru pollution and deforestation. i think its a really big problem and most people dont even seem to give a didley shit about it. most people take everything for granted and area ignorant bastards that dont give a fuck about how much we fucked up our planet. im more concerned about global warming now then some stupid meteorite that s supposedly 15 years away that will prolly mis us anyway. global warming and deforestation is what we should really be worried about because its something that can be stopped and we CAN DO SOMETHING about it.

End of the world
Well global warming is something that takes a very long time. It's not something that we can cause just because we litter and cause pollution massively in one year. We could dump all of our trash and spray things that cause depletion of the O-zone, we could burn harmful chemicals and all drive diesel rigs for 5 years straight, but that won't cause the Ice caps to melt because we did that. It takes time...LOTS of time. an Asteroid on the other hand that is heading straight for earth could cause a major Cataclysm, bigger than the Polar Ice caps melting could cause. If the Scientist are tracking the Asteroid and it is in fact heading right for us, then it probably wouldn't miss. With the technology that we have they could probably pin-point exactly where it will hit.

End of the world
i dont buy it it was probably just some show on discovery channel that said an asteroid is commin right for earth. and its probably partly true but the discovery channel needs its ratings too so it will bend the truth a bit tto get people to watch. when a real scientist comes out and says a meteor is heading st8 for us and will hit us in 15 years hen ill beleive it but just because somebody watched the discovery channe; and saw something about a meteor heading for earth doesnt necisarril make it true.
global warming has sped up because of our efforts at destroying the earths forrests and over the last few hundred years we've been more incresingly pollutant. so we are definately making global warmin worse every yea. and now their saying that in 30 years the earth average tempurature will rise another 1 degree. thats less time then they were saying before when they said something like 80 years. global warming is a natural condition that has happened beforeon earth without our help but now its happening and we are making it alot worse.

End of the world
if a global-destroying meterorite hits earth or is heading for it, our fate is inevitable. as for humans destroying this planet - impossible. earth is obviously equipped to deal with any "damage" the human race can dish out. as for the apocolypse, i doubt any of us will live to see it happen. we have assistance from the other planets in the solar system to prevent such disasterous meteors from hitting our earth - couldn't of picked a better place to inhabit. the chances of a meteor hitting our earth are highly unlikely, some scientists theorized that 65 million years ago, a meteor impacted with earth, thus bringing along the extinction of dinosaurs. plate tectonics have shifted the earths surface - recycling rocks to and from the surface of earth, which is reason why crater impacts are not present anymore. sounds logical...right? i'm going to do more research on the topic because it's out of my own personal interest, i'll be sure to inform you once i have collected more data.

End of the world
Read "Bible Code" and "Bible Code II". One doesn't have to be religious to be amazed at what the author of these books has found...
WE (humanity, that is) are going to be responsible for the end of the world because we just can't seem to get along!

End of the world
you can find that kind of "amazing code" in almost any literature if you have a great imagination.

End of the world
Yeah I've heard about a massive war that would cause the end of the world because of the presence of Nuclear weapons. I've also heard that it starts because of a Civil War right here in the U.S. which has been predicted to slowly inlcine every year until finally in some year (I can't remember what year for sure but the events that lead to it have already started) The U.S. has another Civil War. Then World War 3 is supposed to begin which is what causes the end of the world. Which concludes that we can't get a long with eachother. If you think about it the Civil War thing has fact to it. The first Civil War was fought over Black people having rights. Right now The U.S. is arguing about Civil Rights again and this time it's about Gay marriage. Maybe just a huge coincidence but interesting none the less.

End of the world
no civil war in the united states would occur because of fucking gay rights, thats funny as hell.i am for gay marriage but i am the first to admit there are far more people against it than for it.gay rights activists should take notice of that and stop force feeding the population there never ending list of complaints.it lost in all 14 states last year including Oregon by landslides.obviously the activists are going about it wrong, they should regroup and try again in 10 years with a real message.
