Thanks folks, but I need the email headers, which contain the originating IP addresses and other information I need. How you obtain them depends on the email client you use to read mails - consult the Help section for your specific client. Email headers look similar to the following example:
Quote:
Received: from abcda.mta.somedomain.net (mailserver-email [xx.xx.xx.xx])
by abcda1.mta.somedomain.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 363B455C01
for <[email protected]>; Wed, 3 Aug 2005 10:49:24 -0700 (PDT)
Received: from smtp5.hushmail.com (xx.xx.xx.xx [xx.xx.xx.xx])
by abcda.mta.somedomain.net (EON-PMTA) with ESMTP id F4C93F7D

I guess I went too far eh? That's cool, I can follow the rules. I just hope he doesn't rip anyone else off as he did me and some others. :mad:Quote:

I have info on this scammer and will pass it on to anyone who asks me via email. ( to avoid policy breaking here) ....email addys, phone numbers, home address , fax # and a list of his aliases
[email protected] ( my email not his)
BTW how can ppl STILL be getting scammed by this guy?? HE's posted all over as a scammer! Do your homework before sending anyone money people.
You do realize most, if not all, of that information will be fraudulent, right? And what little is valid will most likely not be directly traceable back to him, at least not by someone not in law enforcement.
yeah, funky...that's what we tell em over and over again. same thing happens at marihemp too...noob's coming in, setting themselves up as easy targets (the 'desparately seeking...' posts) and going for the cheapest deal or best bullshit instead of going to the email and asking around. most of the mods know a bit about what's going on with that scene and we have our addy's posted around or we can be found in the chat room a lot of the time...there's also marihemp's marketplace that has many people who know. but these people are in a hurry and very few take any time to research. many times a simple search of the site will bring up the answer quicker than anything else! even google has come in handy for getting provider's info. we've done sticky's for similar subjects but no one reads them either so unless we keep this and similar threads current and near the top it'll get buried by this evening and a few more will get separated from their money because they didn't bother to do their homework or listen to the old and sage advice...if it sounds too good to be true it usually is...
we can try another sticky for this if y'all want...like maybe make a list of do's and don't's here and one of us will edit it and post it all as an 'official' sticky?
here's one from me...
stick with mature providers. no offense to the younger pushers here but i've yet to see one that didn't quickly run into probs. seen it dozens of times...they mean well at first but have no dealer sense and try to sell before they even have the product...not to mention a sorry grasp on mailing techniques.
and thanks for the scammer's addy. i sent it to scam detector for posting...
Its more to alert potential victims of his . I have a list of 6 email addys and 7 aliases that ppl might not otherwise connect to him. Also the address is legit. The phone numbers are availlable to anyone with his name and address. They match up.
I dont claim to have knocked on his door to verify this info but its a compilation from my web crawling to find out about him after he scammed someone else. I have checked and double checked and only give info that has been double sourced. He's a scammer who trolls several boards looking for victims and somehow keeps finding them using his well known main name "mike felts" . He's not just scamming pot users either. Hes a con.
And yes...KARMA will find you 'mike'.
well hell...guess it didn't connect. i was j/k about the sending your addy to s.d.
Blue cat:
Its likely one of the people he ripped off trying a feeble attempt at getting back at him.
Ive seen a few here and there.
My favorite was one guy who posted as him on a cross dressing/ homosexual site as a 19 yr old male looking for dates with older transvestites! I bet someone got some interesting calls.
