I've never been beaten, but I've had cans thrown at me by strangers just because my voice sounded "gay" to them. A lot of gay men I know wont hold hands with their partner in public because they know this increases their chances of being attacked. I think another reason the rate of attacks is increasing is due to the fact that many more rights are being given to gays and homosexuality is finally being discussed in politics, and this causes a backlash.
here is the bottom line:_ if your gay your gay, if your black your black,if your white your white,if you straight your straight. If people have a problem with you thats their problem not yours unless you are insecure about yourself. Gays can be gay but i believe alot of the time they try to be as gay as possible to piss you off. I had a gay friend he moved to cali (what a considence huh cali and gay ha ha anyway) but you couldnt even tell he was gay he didnt talk all high or dress all gay why do gays have to dress out, so that society can pick on them. what is it impossible to be gay and wear regular cloths (regular meaning not flamboiant). If i see a Black man i give him the same respect i would give a white man because we are humans but if i see an alien from outer space im gonna fuck him up before he has a chance to fuck me up right same as all of you right .
