what's the deal with skating and weed?

I used to skate but quit that shit. I never smoked while I was in my skating days of middle school and into high school. What mellowyellow said is true to an extent. I've met some guys who skate and are really badass guys. But then again, there are thos jackass skaters that do whatever the hell they want to do, regardless if they're breakin the law or on someone elses private property. But hey, what group isn't stereotyped?

Everyone's gonna get stereotyped but I know a lotta skaters that are just really cool people. I guess in any group of people there are gonna be assholes though but the ones I know are cool.

That is so true for me too. When I use to skate in junior high and high school, I was the only one who wasn't smoking pot, drinking my face off, and the people who were, are all either drunks, dead, crackheads, or dishwashers for life.

I still have a buddy who skates every so often and when we go to the skatepark, he skates, I drink ;)...some guys who you think would be the biggest dicks, turn out to be the coolest guys. Funny like that.
