Put it in a mason jar. Add C02. The C02 is heavier than oxygen and will displace the O2 in the jar which will keep the cronic from oxidizing. Seal the jar and keep it in a cool dark place. A good source of C02 for this purpose is C02 wine savers which can be found in any store that sells decent wine.
If you will be storing often, paint a few mason jars black and have them at the ready.
Why did you answer a 2 year old question?
its a good threadQuote:

Glass jars are very bulky for storage.
:DI know this an old post, but i think a good one and everyone should post their opinion!!!
What is everyone's experiences/knowledge with long term storage?
Vacuum sealing or airtight jars? Which would you prefer? How long will it last if it vacuum sealed? How long will it last if in glass jars? Compared with each other? :)
Any and all information would help a number of people wondering the same thing.
yep it is...A slice of bread will work as well as an orange ...
You get canning jars at Walmart in summer when it's canning season...but even a Space Bag is better if you can't afford a vacume seal machine.
the trichomes on the weed are what store the thc, if you freeze your weed this will cause the trichomes to rupture, causeing the thc to start to degrade.squashing or packing weed will also rupture the trichomes, always store in totally airtight containers, and keep in a cool dark place, prefrably the fridge.Quote:
