Why You Shouldn't TOP Plants.

lol i didnt read you grew it outside my bad, i just looked at the pic n thought id use a bigger pot if i had that huge mamma in my house she prolly eats more than my x girlfriend

well, i top all my ladies at the 3rd node and get at least 2 main cola's on every plant...usually 3-5. if the pinch is done early in seedling stage and never again the plant fully recovers by maturity.

check my pics of them just before harvest...they're all full of leaves, thick stems and loaded with flowers and many 10-14" cola's. averaged just under 2oz's/plant on 14 plants (c99, blockhead and master kush) in a 2 month veg...started 1/1 and harvested end of april.

10"-14"colas good enough for me!!

Of course you could try some sea of green methods or just some LST... i've gotten great results through that

i guess hardon finally knows toping may be efficient lol

Just a comment that 3 oz. from a plant aint a whole lot is all. I think the low grow approach is awesome and Hard On has his own litl outdoor low grow going...aint showed no pics yet....

If i can get 3 oz. from a low profile, hidden between the bushes grow, i will be a happy fucker too.

I do have to say that i don't really approve of the blatent use of negativity Harddon is feeding his plants though :(

They need to be whispered to and sweet talked...the trash talk might fly in the bedroom, but it shouldn't fly in the grow room

Harddon grow fine plants....I've seen his pic and read his posts. He makes good points, trees are grow different then anybody else here are doing. 99% of the people who grow indoors don't grow trees. Most of them just use top light and think the lumens are penetrating enough. They grow lollypop type plants. The main cola is the only place that contains the first growth hormones and antioxidants that control height. If you crop then those antioxidants are not replaced by the plant. There are lots of professional growers who harvest the main cola as #1 bud and sell it as premium.

Thatâ??s not my point of view but there is support for it. I go for volume and I canâ??t tell the difference either but some do.
