looks like they have a ways yo go yet. when did flower start.. add 60 days to that number and your starting to get a ballpark number on the finish.. need info to tell harvest time. Keep an eye on the pistils once they start to turn a reddish brown harvest is near. May want to get yourself something to look at the tricombs with like A jewelers loop or mini microscope. Radioshack sells one for under $15

So... A little update on the girls; the tallest one has grown a bit since the last time I was on here.. & the small girl is still pretty tiny. But her top bud is getting fatter by the week lol I guess that's fine with me. - Someone was telling me that if you pinch the tip of the females early they bush out and stop from getting stringy? Well their pistils are getting reddish brown and smelling amazing. But the big girl seems to still be flowering... I guess I'll wait it out, still can't hardly wait such a newb.:D here's some pics c :

Fortunately - The only things it needs to grow is water, and light. The reason we use nutrients is so we can increase harvest size. Has nothing to do with quality, only quantity. Now, even in the wild these plants would have looked much healthier - But hey, on her first attempt she was successfully able to finish the bloom cycle.
Not all of us can say that.
Just my opinion - Good work, but lots of space for improvement

I have to disagree on that one, low. Using no nutrients will not grow a quality product. Go cheap, harvest cheap. I know a few people that do that every year, they are still waiting for that 'magic bean' that will grow the killer smoke. I've given them breeder seeds and they get pretty much the same meh results.
Congrats to Arijuana for finishing a first grow and thanks for posting the log. Every experience is good experience.

We'll have to stay in our own corners on that one then. I've grown plenty out with no nutes I even accidentally once grew out a WW (no idea how, but somehow a WW seed dropped down into one of my soil grows during flower... Only got 3 grams, but it was some tasty shit) Now, granted, there were some nutes in the bucket it dropped into. I have however had accidental grows under windows from tossing seeds out of baggies that still produced quality smoke.
Test the theory out. Two plants, same medium, feed one, and only water the other. Taste will be similar, its just yield that won't be.
