Looking Good!
Can't wait for my Qush to get that big!

Seem to be coming along nicely.
judging by the pics you have legit pre 98 bubb, however it may also be a cross with lavender,i grew both of those strains non stop for years.
They came right out of it I see. I think you'll be real happy with them, way back we grew some of the Bubba and it was KILLER...good enough that I bought some of Emerald Triangles '76 Afghan x Pre-'98 Bubba Kush which I think should be a real good producer with a kick IMO from past years grow experiences.
Please keep up with the report as I'll be following...luck to you
Okay, here they are at 4 and 5 weeks. Looking real good now. They are kind of growing slow cuz right now in my veg area the temps are running a bit cool. I am working on correcting that issue. :smokin:

As promised, here is an update on the Qush.
First thing to mention is that both plants are female! Woo Hoo!
This is the first one that was identified, the second took a couple more weeks to show herself.

Now here they are at 11 and 12 weeks, just about ready to go into the flower room. I am limited on space, so the smaller one is going to have to wait a few extra weeks, at least a month, before I can move it into the flower room. Kind of a bummer, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
The one on the left is 27" tall and the one on the right is 19". One very noticeable thing about this plant is that the stem or stalk is very thick and sturdy. Could it be that this plant is preparing to support some big beefy buds? Only time will tell, until then, we will have to wait...

The next update will be from flower stage.
Qush - Pre-98 Bubba Kush x Space Queen, test strain for TGA
Okay, here they are at the beginning of flower.
Pheno #1 is taller, more stretchy, it is 46" tall. It has a nice cherry candy smell.
Pheno #2 didn't stretch at all, the stem from bottom to top is the same thickness, it is 35" tall. this one has a kind of sweet hash smell. This one has some very large sucker leaves and is a very stocky dense plant.
Just in case they are the whoop, I took three cuttings of each pheno. they are rooted and looking good too!
These are being flowered under a 600 watt HPS. This will be my first time using a 600 HPS and also my first time running this new little closet. 3' x 4' x 8' tall, which gives me about 50 watts per square foot. So far I am very impressed with the 600 watt light so far. I have been growing with 1000 watt lights the past three years. Before that I was using 400s.

I will update with some more pics as they continue to flower.
here are some update pics of the Qush. I probably should have started a thread dedicated just to the Qush. Oh well, I will just have to continue to hijack this one!
Each of the two phenos that I have (tall one and short one) have a lemon candy aroma at this point.
So far, Qush appears to be a very good strain, it is easy to grow and a very sturdy plant. Subcool has released the seeds for sale. If you are lucky you will find somewhere that is not sold out!

Just in case they are keepers, I took three cuttings from each pheno of the Qush. The Qush are in the grey pots on the right. I also took six Querkle cuttings, the orange pots on the left. I am hoping to be able to flower these twelve in my 2000 watt flower closet in the near future. I sure hope the Qush comes out smelling and tasting like lemon. It has been a long time since I have had a good lemon strain.
