Best way to thicken main stem?

C.A.P. XGC-1 Xtreme Greenhouse Controller is one of the first things to start with. It would improve your current grow too. You can find it on eBay for about 700-800 the store price is 900. I use 2 of them one for the veg and one for the flower room. CO² is another thing you can get to increase your current grow. The tank type is the way to go for small to medium grows.

I find bags of weed in my winter coat pockets from year ago. Wife cant stand it. But i get stoned and forget where i put it, so i just go to my stash poing and fill up again.

Anyhow, I have built my cabinet and have spared no expense. I really was thinking about the co2...but i understand:

1. co2 is used by the plant during light stage.
2. the co2 will pour to the bottom of the air level.

Well, since my fans and exhaust are running full board during light sessions, will not the co2 i put in just be sucked right out?

I realize if I have a room that might be different, but how could I effectively gas the grow space and know it wount be sucked right out.

I have a 250cfm exhaust with 2 passive 4" intakes.

my veg chamber is 3.5 sq ft and 30 inches high.

Please let me know what YOU would do if YOU were in MY situation.

You need cooling to run CO² like an AC unit. If you have air-cooled hoods heat should not be a problem. You are correct the CO² would leak out. You need a sealed environment and the idea is to raise the level around 1800 PPm and hold it there for several hours. Evacuate the room with the vent for how ever long it take to exchange 100% of the air and then pump CO² in again up to 1800 PPm and hold it there. Think how you can pipe the air from a window unit AC into your area. What is the RH in your flower and veg area or do you even worry about that?

You could put your exhaust on timmers so they do not run durning the period you are using CO².

NOTE: CO² is worthless if you do not have HID lights, fluorescents do not produce enough light for the plant to process the extra CO². 400w is the minimum light for good CO² absorption.

Thanks for the input. Well I am pretty much committed, financially, to the CFL I have invested in for vegging. For flowering, I will use both MH and HPS and prolly some low mounted CFL as well.

So I could use the co2 for flowering, but I think i read its best for veg state. Is that correct?

Yes the heat is an issue of concern, only because I like to sleep at night not worrying about a fire.

The new light set up i have, comes with a tube cooler so I will run exhaust right in and right out of the box.

I could cut out a small square and take the door off a mini fridge and seal the mini fridge wide open and just make that a part of the closet, eh?

Using CFC for veg save the CO² it wont work with them. I run CO² veg and flower right up to the day I chop them. Mini fridge? intresting thought. Keep an eye on the humidity when you use AC you need to raise the level. You keep the RH higher in the veg and lower it the last 2 weeks before harvest.

You want a temperature range of 72-80f for the whole time if you can.
