miracle grow. good or bad?

I can only speak from the results I've seen myself, they use this stuff for everything they grow(they have a farmers market) and they grew 18 of the biggest plants I've ever seen in person, the tea is just a portion of it but it doesn't seem to hurt them at all.
miracle grow. good or bad?
can anyone help ? if i were to get miracle gro all purpose compost. would i have to add any nutes? or if i were to get the "expand n grow" miracle gro would i have to add any base soil? and again would i have to add nutes?
