Unless they are publicly outed, I doubt that there are places charging for membership. If there are, I want in, because that means they are the tits. I'm assuming we're discussing MMC's and not some private caregiver agreement or something. I could be wrong.

I think there is a viable future option for smaller boutique style places. I would happily pay a membership fee if it meant I consistently got top 1% meds. I don't care what the cost would be, it would be worth it. $100 is nothing to me as far as accessing quality medicine.

The only reason an MMC would turn away business is if they are protecting their inventory for their existing patients. There's nothing wrong with that. Go a block down the road to the next place.

As I've understood it each patient has 6 plants,... and if the patient was going to try a home grow of 1 plant, the caregiver or dispensary could only grow 5, and so on to the max of 6 plants.

Recently I've been hearing this "6/6" thing, so a patient can grow 6, and their caregiver can grow 6 more. But I haven't personally read it in the laws. (Still lots of reading to do!) :o

Anyone care to point it out where this is stated in the statutes? :wtf:

Pretty sure with 1284 - MMCs don't need you to sign over plants. Private caregivers are a different story. You would need to sign over some plant numbers if they are going to be growing for you. Of course, if you just need a caregiver to pick meds (in other words home-bound but can still move around enough to grow) then I guess you don't even have to give up plant numbers. Typically though I think most private cg's are growing for their patients.

personally, if your able to grow physically, mentally and financially its worth the learning curve to do it and just use dispensaries in droughts. too many are caught up in the candy store aspect as far as law goes i would assume you give up your six when you assign a caregiver. i HAVE seen employment opportunities for auditors and regulators for the state...be wary people:( mofos probably get paid 100k to bust our asses + commision, benefits and paid holidays, sick days and vacation. i was a straight A student and i have never seen that. guess it pays to be a traitor.

absolutely. plant some seeds! What I like to use dispensaries for is trying a gram or two of a varieties I'm interested in trying/growing.

It's not in the statutes. It still defaults to the Amendment 20 standards. Collectively you can grow 6. If your caregiver is growing 4, then you can grow 2.

There is a medical necessity clause for additional plants above the 6, but you have to prove that in court. Law enforcement will not necessarily honor that in a search, even with an expanded Dr's rec.

but, imagine you got yours counted for some reason. if you had six and they checked your card, they wouldn't then go check your caregiver. chances are the caregiver is growing for a bunch of other people, too.Given that neither of you can control what the other does.. you can grow your six. If you have six or less at your house, you don't have anything to worry about...
