It's called and open mind and a willingness to listen to her constituents concerns, I would much rather have someone that represents me that is willing to change their mind after hearing their constituents voices, then some clown that votes for something they don't believe in because they are scared of being called a "flip flopper" That's the point of debate and public forum to change the oppositions opinion.

GreatfulMeds, you are right. Your words are true and Rep Levy did not "flip-flop" with her vote. She voted no when she had the chance and I am pleased for her opposition.
There were two amendments to this bill that really hit me hard, Levy's being one of them. I am sure others have their own worst case amendments.
There obviously was far more money chasing this bill than any of us initially understood and the science of medicine became an orphan because of it.
The end result, it's now likely I will move to another state to continue my research on high CDB cannabis. If that's necessary, I will miss the land of my birth, Colorado. Some may recall the "summer of love" in San Francisco. In many ways Denver in 2009 had a similar remarkable spirit. It was wonderful.

It's not over and please do not move! You are right the Big $$$ was not identified and called out early in the process and many never realized what was really at stake. I agree the feeling in Denver/Boulder/Nederland did have the summer of love feel, and as many great movements and deeds were born of the Summer of 67, I think the same will be true of Colorado2009!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yr caregiver is the best grower you know.. A guy that does nothing but grow yr meds for you and offer them at a free/discounted price.. That's it.. Not yr security gard!
Exactly. You don't get prescription medicine and the manufacturer comes to your house and makes sure you are taking the right amount of medicine, walking your pets, cleaning your toilet and making your bed. No, he sits in his office and makes tons of money. This bill is really attacking marijuana and anyone who uses it. Low blow. :(

That's an interesting thought. I smoked my first joint in the summer of 1967. I grew my first joint in the summer of 2009.

Doesn't the patient define what a Care Provider is, for each of them individually, based on personal needs? Do they really need help with this?
Maybe they can next define 'Shitting on the State's Constitution', for us? Or they already did that with HB 1284
