Worst Dispensary in the state..Mr Nice Guys

Lamp, a personal question- What kind of herb/strains do you use to alleviate you medical symptoms? (I'm not asking you what your sick with or anything, I don't mean to literally to be that personal by any means) I'm asking you what you sway towards? Maybe I'm just lucky and haven't picked many lemons? Or maybe I not as shopped around as you are. Anytime I've felt rushed by heavy patient load, or my fav spots not being open, I've made bad decisions and have picked less good product I feel. Some personal favs though- I like Diesels/chemdogs, Kush's, DP, Blueberry

I hear shit's changing with the new laws coming and ultimately that sucks for growers and patients alike while dispensaries will reap profit. I've decided personally and for the better of the community that I'm not going to name stores any more or my opinions on thier strains that I've had had mixed experiences with because that's all it is- my experience. Anybody been to Altitude Organic Medicine in Denver? I stopped in, and I asked if something was organic, well, it turns out hardly anything was organic, plus I saw most strains had nanners, some had seeds. Clones looked like total crap, can't beleive any were still alive. This place gave me the creeps.

Definately in my bottom 5% of Denver dispensaries.

There's two locations of altitude organic med btw. Well, in Denver. One is in a green and brown building up north near Herbal Elements, and the other is down south in a big ol office building off of Evans and between Monaco and Quebec.

From just the most basic appearances, they don't look like they're operated by the same people. Altitude organic medicine South has a website, and they list "sister" dispensaries in Boulder, but not the place in Highlands.

Which one did you go to, budkatz?

I went to the one in Highlands. I didn't realize there were others by the same name, but since they used "organic" in the name I figured there might be some decent meds. Wrong. I still feel creeped out by that experience.

BTW, Herbal Elements is now in my top 3, I've been to about 40 disppensaries in Denver, about 10 in Boulder.

I'm starting to notice some bad dispensaries grow the low grade meds in their basement...

Your third post (granted this is my first) and you are displeased AOM (highlands) quality.

I've been four or five times in the last two months and did not have the same experience with quality as you.

What strains did you have a prob with? I lean towards the most heavy Indicas. Maybe we're looking at totally different meds.

How did you find the staff and the whole experience? I have no affiliation with them, I'm a newbie to CO and just thought that it was head and shoulders above the Chicago undergound scene that I came from.

Please anyone feel free to chime in if I'm way misguided as to what defines good MMJ or a good dispensary.

Rocky mountain farmacy (out of state owners) takes the cake on this one. Brown, tumbled, ammonia, trich less, stored in plastic jars with moisture packets,all smell like hay and look the same. They got some hydro they call "ultra premium"(far from the truth) it is unflushed and therefore makes it worse then brick weed unless you dig the Marathon hacking session and burnt throat effect for weeks after a hit or two. the free 1/8th they offer is not even worth giving away, and is still in my stash until i find an enemy to give it too. as well as the unflushed hydro grams i bought to give them one last chance. bottom line is, all their products are the worst in colorado and a warning, dont take the "free 1/8th a month caregiver program" scam, you wont want to smoke it.

you should give a review of this place its own thread.

only a tool would shop at the farmacy stores after reading this review.

THIS is the kind of place Chris Romer thought was the best model.

Would have to agree, shitty place!!

They have pictures on the wall saying t"his is what itʻs supposed to look like but the grower fucked it up"..... powder mold on at least 4 strains, most weʻre hermie as well and the bud wasnʻt even remotely cured.

There are so many shitty Dispensaries, its better just to focus on the good ones:thumbsup:
