The first picture is a 3 day seedling it sprouted the night before i planted the others 2 days ago. Looking healthy and trying to not stretch it.
Second picture is of another day old sprout , third is another picture of a diffrent seedling , fourth picture of the other seelding these were all planted on the same day. The other two haven't seem to come up yet hopefuly by the morning they will be there. The top of the closet that will be used for young veg growth. And then my cute Kitty Daisy.she kept running in the room so i took a picture of her.

Looks good so far
I don't know if it's just me, but that soil looks pretty chunky and in desperate need of some perlite or some medium to aerate it. I think for now, while still a seedling in a cup, it will be fine.
But I would recommend when transplanting to pick up some Miracle Grow Organic Soil, a bag of Perlite and if u want to a bag of spaghum moss (or maybe peat moss:stoned:), then mixing them all up real well in a big container and using that for your next medium. It will provide good nutrition, pH balance and drainage
Also, are you going to be sticking with CFLs through the whole grow?

Well theres perlite in that its not to thick either or chunky but it could be alittle compaird to some soil, Thats a great idea tho ive seen many people do it on here with good results and i plan useing CFL throughout the whole grow unless i can get a cheap hps or something.

Looks to be a fun grow, Bread!
I grew for three years with Miracle Grow and never had any trouble with it. For my come-back I've switched to fancy organic stuff and am suddenly finding that I need to be prepared to deal with fluctuating pH levels. Now I'm pining for the days when things were simple and easy. :D
Just watch out that Daisy doesn't take an exploratory bite or three out of an unsuspecting seedling when your back is turned, my room-mate's kittie Theodore has been caught trying to munch on unattended plants, and I've heard horror stories about loving cats destroying a whole grow room.
Keep up the good work!! :smokin:

ahaha yea the other grows ive done have been grown in miracle-grow, they went rele well.
on the other note lol i cant stand opening the door to the room with her in the room she just wont stop trying to get into the area wherre the plants are lol , her brother seems to like to put his head in the empty cups wit soil.
Ah and a question for anyone whos watching an got the answer, i am lacking alittle bit of humidity in the room and the soil seems to be drying out pretty quick how ofton should i water the seeldings??? i stick my finger in the dirty alittle and i cant rele tell it dont seem to moist , i watered it before i went to sleep last night around 3 and this morning around 11-12:30 it seemd rele dry so i gave em so more water.

whats up... doing well so far.
Ive grown in MG soil and also used MG grow and bloom nutes... They work but you will have better results by using something better. Ive gotten good results with MG potting mix and fox farms trio. Ive heard the MG organic soil is a bit too hot for young seedlings. MG also makes perlite with small amounts of nutes in it that works good. Also a couple tips... They look like they might be stretching a little. With CFLs they have to be withing 4-5" from the plants to be effective. So cooling is important so that you can drop the bulbs close. Also when you transplant you can bury the seedlings stem up to the growth to fix the stretch it has. Keep up the good work!
Goodluck!

thanks to both, of ya
@ wyldeganja30- yea , i still haven't gotten to the store yet , i will in the next couple days for the spray bottle , pots , more soil , perlite , ect
@ GetThisOrDie- ive tried fox farm also in my very very first grow it went well , as i mentioned to wylde i will be going to the store in the next couple days ill see what they have better then MG and ill get some perlite for a 50/50 mix.
Also i have the lights 2-3 1/2 inches above the plants i just moved them up to take the pictures so theres no bright light blinding the picture. but i also do plan on transplanting them alittle deeper as u mention.
