I would recommend ordering a couple extra Wand pieces ,and also a couple extra "chimney"(the elbow) pieces, they are glass, and you ARE stoned.

I have tried that in the past, and it made the vape less efficient. I have found that the best efficiency is achieved when you breathe super slow and set the vape where the manual says.

The chimney piece you refer to is called the heater cover. I have broken a wand before by dropping it, but I highly doubt one would need an extra heater cover. The heater cover would be pretty difficult to break and is pretty well protected by the metal housing. My SSV has even been knocked on the floor a few times and the heater cover has never been affected.
