Good thing you transplanted, was that thing in a paper bowl? Anyways, like shake said, you need to add Perlite to your soil mixture so that over time the waterings don't compress the soil so the water cannot penetrate. You need to water a plant when it needs it, that's the only way to say it, when the soil is dry, let it stay dry for a day or 2, then water it until a small amount comes out the bottom. Then let it dry out completely again. Its called weed for a reason, its doesn't need much water and can live through most anything that NATURE can give it. That should hold ya off for a bit, keep the good questions coming.
Also, for the initial question, yes the plant needs nitrogen during veg, as well as it needs phosphate and potassium at the same time, during flower you just want to cut and eventually eliminate the N to get rid of the harshness.
Sorry for rambling.

It's called foliar feeding/spraying, and yes it's ok. Don't make the mistake I did and do it in full bright light or the water droplets create a magnifying glass and burn spots onto your plants.

Quite the opposite, you want to spray them when they are shaded.

One of the 2 Crip plants (the other that doesnt have the slight crip odor), At the bottom the spiked leaves have 1 or 2 very tiny brown spots and slight yellow at the edge of leave, and overall the whole leave is looking somewhat Pale..
On the other hand the other suspected female plant is growing awfully nice,
Please help, THANKS! :stoned::stoned::stoned::stoned:

Well first off, the sun doesn't need to be down exactly, just not direct sunlight. On a cloudy day, the sky still gives off a good amount of ambient and healthy light(around 2,400 foot candles). The reason is to not burn the plants like redtails said. And giving them just water isn't exactly foliar feeding, and also, unless the plants are completely dry they shouldn't need more water. The discoloration might be due to the over-watering. When a plants roots are wet, they cannot take in nutrients like when they are dry. Think about it like this, when you are eating, you can't take a bite and a drink at the same time, needs to be a separation. When the roots aren't oxygenated enough they start to just adsorb the nutrients in the leaves. Let them dry out and see what happens. The worst thing people do to their first plants is baby them.
