only thing I can add is you should add a couple 2700k CFLs or replace one of the two 6500k ones and you'll see a difference, the yellower light is good for flowering plants.

i was thinking of throwing the plant in the 3rd pic into flower on monday...not much height for her or the last pic to grow so im thinking i'll use the tie down method..so she gets light on the sides to promote wider growth. the plant in the first two pics has about 4ft of height to grow so not to worried about her.
thanks for the input..i replaced one of the 6500k cfl's with a 2700k...i'll try to put that 6500k back into the mix when i make my way to the store...tomorrow will be 5 weeks of flowering hope she's ready to harvest intime for new years or better yet for Christmas:)Quote:

The plants always start in an organic miracle grow and perlite mix and the bottom leaves always yellow..brown...then fall off...maybe nute burn? because as she matures the she stays green im guessing since she is big enough to handle the nutes at that point. I don't feed them extra nutes untill flowering (FF Tiger Bloom)
i'll show off my other ladies a little later...they are in veg and one had a light fall on her..lol...gotta laugh becuase i've read similar stories but never thought it could happen to me
nice i like what you have done with ur lil lady...

thanks...anyone know if i can cut off some of the large fan leaves...especially towards the bottom...the flowering buds aren't getting much light...because i only have light hanging above...not realy able to have it coming from the side for this plant...if so is there anything special to take into consideration...or just snip?
In my opinion the fan leaves feed the plant so leave them alone..In Jorge Cervantes' Medical Grow Bible he says to leave fan leaves alone. The fan leaves provide the plant with energy to grow more bud, so I think if you trim the fan leaves it would stress the plant a bit and probably wouldn't increase yield. However if you are certain you wish to trim leaves do the minimum that is possible and perhaps only trim part of each leaf. I hope this was some help to you good luck with your grow :)
