Nice 'lil grow, Jungle. Looking good. How are things in the "big girl" space?

Not too bad.. but I think I have an issue with either the lamp or ballast.
These girls are nothing like their offspring in the CFL cab.
Large.. but don't have anywhere near the solidness of the CFL girls
They're about 3ft ATM

Hey all,
Well I've decided to turn the lights out tonight (Thursday 7pm local) until I open the cupboard again Saturday morning round 10 am, thats 39 hours dark before the chop.
The supposed last push so to speak. Never tried it but thought what the hell. Took pics tonight a couple mins before the lights went out for the last time on these girls. The halide room is going to be going for another couple weeks. Nowhere near what the CFL's did, but as I was saying, either the lamp or ballast has issues. Don't care, have a replacement already. Will be changing that tomorrow for the last 2 weeks of the larger girls.

Well, those flowers are outstanding, Jim!
In regards to re-vegging, I think it can be a great idea, especially if it means saving a strain or just letting it go. I"ve had no problems with revegging. I did this with a nice BB female outdoors this season (it got ripped off later) and a BG male, that I used to pollinate the BB and some others (again, all ripped off) But, the revegging worked great.

hey,
loving that CFL room setup! My guess on the Metal-Halide not working is because of the spectrum, the 4000k is not ideal for growing, 5500K+ is good, it's the more blue-er light that plants like that comes naturally in spring time, and I'm guessing your CFLs are 2700k, the yellow light for autumn.
so that's my :twocents:
And for revegging, I have some experience in that area, I was about 2 weeks from harvest and found myself with no upcoming plants, so I took a couple branches of buds off one plant, clipped the buds off, but left all the fan leaves/other green I could, and it did take about 3 weeks to start new growth, and very slowly may I add. so If you're going to be doing some reveg, pull up a chair cause it takes a while.

Oh man, those buds look delicious, my mouth is seriously watering. Nice work!!

I do agree for the most part with the kelvin etc, however...
This is grandma.. the original lone seed I had at the time..
she started all of this.. I grew her from an unknown seed given from supposed good random bag, under the exact same fitting/lamp (new lamp for both grows, same brand, specs etc ) I used this time.
Same ventilation, same nutes, same light, same soil, same schedule.... I'm sure you get the point :)
Have no idea whats different.
Everything I have is either a direct clone from grandma or a clone of that clone, so can't really call it a genetics thing..
hmmm...

I think I've got this sorted.. even if the re-veg fails.. I took a male flower from grandma 'way back when' and froze it.
I took that out and used a tiny paint brush and brushed the pollen onto one of the CFL girls. She's probably holding, and near ready, about 50-75 seeds.
Should keep me going if they are viable.
I'm going to try the re-veg anyway but it's a good feeling knowing I've got something to fall back on.
And the best part is.. by the looks of it.. she still going to be a mint puff :)

Heya boys and girls, I had a change of heart.. the pic in this post is what's now left and the beginning of phase 3 - Re-Veg, Clone and Fem seeds (created by me). Going to run all 3 at once and see what does what.
The next two posts after this are the before and after of what I decided to do last night.. can anybody say..... TIMMMMMMMBERRRRRR!!! :D
Everything is gone except the what i did with a fem seed I grew last round, which started flowering a couple weeks after the clones. So another 2 weeks for her.
The next posts are just going to be pics, and because Jerry Springer isn't here.. I'd like to ask for YOUR final thoughts
Anyways, cheers peeps
