what size intake and out take are you using in this grow in about a month i am going to start a 1000w 6 plant grow and ill be sure to log it
I have a passive intake, basically just a 10" square of 3/4" holes drilled in the wall of my closet about 3" from the floor, with a heating vent grille on the outside, and a hepa filter on the inside... Filter is to try and control the cat hair and dust getting inside, and it works for the INTAKE.Quote:

As soon as this round is over, i am going to add an intake fan to increase my airflow.. i had some heat issues on this first round.. I will update with pics and details on the construction when the time comes..
My outtake is a 6" Vortex fan, pushing about 450 cfm, (Probably a lot less CFMs in actuality because my intake issues) I am stuck with the 6" ducting size because im splitting it into my dryer vent at the wall, but its worked like a charm so far.. :stoned:
Have you tried opening the door at the top to equalize the pressure of the room first before pulling the door all the way open. Or turn the exhaust fan off from the outside b4 going in there.
Yeah, im trying different things to keep it under control.. I'm turning off the circ fans when im working in there with the door off, and ive been sweeping and wiping down the surrounding area as much as possible too..Quote:

My colas look beautiful, I will try to post new pics here soon. Most of my leaves are a bright yellow on the tips and are really N deficient but i'm 6 weeks into flowering, so its nothing but water and molasses from here on in.. I'm so tempted to cut early its almost unbearable :D
wont let me edit, so bump :stoned:

greenfire in sac has those fans you want
Cheers, i'm a little far from Sac tho, probably just use an oversized comp case fan..
Anyhow, Based on my last pic posted, (This is around 6 wks into flowering) Should i be getting ready to harvest?
I was expecting/hoping to go a full 8 wks or more in flowering, but the N is sucking out of all my leaves and the buds are looking nice... cant get enough magnification to see trich color tho..
I'm thinking time to cut soon- i must have a quick-flowering strain.. This is supposedly Urkel, and i have no experience with this strain, so its a bit of guesswork on this first round..
i use inline booster fans $30 frome home depot
cant tell from the pic, but i wouldnt worry about the leaves you dont do much with those in the end anyhow, and they usually look really ugly mine any way. its like fall time remeber what happens to trees
haha yeah my whole canopy looks like fall right now.. I'm thinking it may be partially from a slight overdose of molasses with the past 3 feedings, so now they are getting straight water until the end... planning on chopping the first test nuggets at 7 weeks.
