Here are 3 pic's that are not the best, thats for sure. But, after topping it has clustered all up. I see no balls, but might have seen a couple hairs. The wind got to it today, but its been a week from topping and im afraid i got a hermi. I started this outside and its been there about 32 days. Can anyone see anything. :wtf:
I can't see anything from those pictures. Give it another couple weeks; 32 days might not be enough time to determine the sex, especially if it's growing outside. A little wind shouldn't have caused any damage (itwill actually help make it a stronger plant, as long as it doesn't cause the stems to break or anything).
Looks pretty healthy though. Keep going, and make sure you look at the third node up from the bottom to determine sex. If you can get pictures of the third node (or higher) in about a week, post those.
Well, so i waited as advised, by someone more knowledgable than I. So, its been about 11 days and some of the inside of the plant just dryed up and fell off? And a branch broke while i was trying to get to the middle of the plant to look for signs of sex. If anything i believe iv helped it with a burst of a growing spert after it broke. Here are pics of the tops and side view. The first is the problem plant. After i topped it, the plant went crazy.I even thought i saw pre flowers. I cant believe that pre flowers would come out in 45 days. BUT, it is bag seed i liked and it could just hermi up on me. This is my 3rd year with out a really great grow, but with out that great seed to start with it isnt helping my cause. Il have my seeds next year for sure.
The 2 packs i ordered from Holland were taken in the mail by the boarder control. Which cost me $180.00 and dont have the cash to try at this time.
Also, the first 2 are topped and the 3rd isnt yet. I plan to top it soon.
My question is whats up with the first one. I feed the same cheap stuff to all my plants called. "EXPERT GARDENER WATER SOLUABLE PLANT FOOD" ITS 15-30-15 Its just what i could spend?:wtf:
i tried to get a shot inside the plant and blow it up. not sure it will work but here we go:rastasmoke: ok i tried one more i think you can see what i mean.
Ok what do ya think. Any advise il take for sure. Thanks:rasta:
I still tell if there are signs of sex yet. If at all possible, check your camera for a "Macro" setting, which lets you take picture really close up of things. In one of your pictures it looks like it might be a hermi, but without getting closer, I can't tell for sure. The higher up on the plants you look, the easier it will be to tell. By the 6th or 7th node, you should be able to tell.
The plant in the first picture: it looks like nute burn. Stop using the nutrients immediately, and just flush the nutes out with water. That's my guess, since you aren't using CFLs or anything to burn them.
Regardless, your other plants look great. Very healthy. They may be a bit yellow-ish....check some of the other threads to see what that means (i.e. too much K, Ph, etc.). I'm no expert by any means, of course.
I really wouldn't worry about trying to sex them if they are being shy :) Just keep doing what you're doing and eventually you'll be able to tell. It took 2 months for one of my grows to sex the plants...I just couldn't tell.
Keep it going!
Wow thanks for getting back with me so fast. I dont have the setting on my camara. Its a piece of crap. If you open the pic in a different aplication you can zoomit on your computer. Probly im using to much fert. thats for sure. I guess i feel like everyone on here is feeding something and thats what made me do it. I guess its what im using thats hurting them. Just not the right stuff.
But i think its really helping the ones i have planted in the ground. I mix it weak and they seem happy. I need to keep some soapy water on em becouse the bugs are eating the heck out of them. But, there still growing. One is about 2 feet and the rest are close. 3 are small but nice and green.
Thanks again and il get some pic's up after i see some really good growth.:rasta:
Ok i checked these just the other day and the bottems were sorta brown because of bugs. They were getting ate up. So i was putting soapy water on them. On the same day i gave them the fert i mentioned above. What happen the fert, or the soap?:( Im not using the fert anymore because i was advised not to. I guess i thought i needed something to boost the growth. I think they said it was to strong. So what can i use thats not so strong that might help the growth? Any ideas would help please, thanks:D
Also is the soap hurting the plants, its just dish soap.
I will get a closer pic Sunday:wtf:
you should use neem oil instead of soapy water for the bugs.
They look almost dead......My best advice is do some research, before trying these home remedies----Peace.
