i cant see the reason behind it

why is it so important?
i ask cuase i have a 15 yr old and to me poking a hole in my lip dont make sense
maybe becuase ive had mine sewn the fuck back on after a accident and last thing i want is another hole in my face anywhere,for any reason

it just seems like one the things kids do to fit in
and i say it plain
if you got to poke a hole in you to feel like you belong
something aint right,
that aint a insult,
whats wrong with NOT being like everyone else and not hang things from ya face
