^^ has anyone talked to DAVE?
be careful what you wish for ... the Dispensary system is so f*cked up, in California, IF Medical MJ is ever thrown out, it will be because of the Dispensary issues ... GROW, GROW, GROW

How Dave sets up the article and what focus he gives it will be seen shortly as it is due for publication the next Sunday..April 26, 09 in the Santa Fe Reporter (a daily local newspaper).
I do sincerely believe Dave has the interest for the truth at heart and this will prevail from the start in the news article.
I am not at all inclined to even guess how he will choose to forward the topic in and of itself.
However, Dave Maass is highly regarded as a brilliant reporter and his work seems to find a way outside of the box, if you will.
I kept the big picture in mind though out our time together and gave him alot of informative reports, studies and all else I could in the motivation to give merit where needed and to expose the truth out and away from the falsehoods and outright lies that cover up the facts.
Just as importantly, I made sure not to express myself in a way that sets the general public against the ''pot culture'' wrought with stoner mentalities and the associated lameness seen in the way potheads seemingly wish to be known for.
We discussed the use of my real name, rather than an alias and settled with my first name, Michael, and last initial.
There will be repercussions for my doing this for Dave and us all, who are in the good fight to get the facts out to the public but it will be worth it no matter the level it may go.
And why not?
Rick Simpson ( Cure Cancer with Hemp Oil - Phoenix Tears ) has gone thru by far more punishment for his long time efforts and he is a better man as a result.
When Canada prescribes the first doses of hemp oil concentrate in the very near and oh so soon future, it will have been Rick Simpson who made it happen.
It was Rick who re-discovered hemp oil as a cure for severe headaches to a cure for brain tumors, cancer or not and for cancer itself.
What cannot be cured with hemp oil is easier to guess than not and the more current studies are discovering more and more each day.
I have never been so angry and heart broken as I was when I came to the factual understanding that several in my family would still be alive today had they been made aware of and given hemp oil.
Having cancer myself and seeing first hand the results of being cured I too was in disbelief.
Even with my own eyes I just could not believe the cancer was gone.
More so, that even the scar tissues are changing back into soft, healthy tissue.
I can't make it up as I have the proof on my own body and surgery appointments no longer made.
But today is a new day and my biased ignorance of medical cannabis is deep in my past as I seek to make a case for the many cancer patients who are over taken in fear, pain and sickness having to accept and deal with their cancer.
As for myself...I will do whatever I can and whatever it may take to get this all out into the public arena in a way that the powers to be cannot ignore and the general public will be made to see.
Albeit I may well make insulting challenges to the doctors at the Cancer Research Center in front of the media and an arrested Federal felon myself is no end all matter to me. (concentrated THC/hemp oil is a Federal felony and so is kief!!!)
If it take this much and more then I am as ready as I will ever be to take whatever shall come my way.
I have not a reason to do otherwise.
Rick Simpson already has done the work ahead of us all and for this alone, it makes us all indebted to him.
As a way to thank Rick for his many years of doing battle all the while he is healing many and at a loss to him personally?
I will donate to Phoenix Tears and take a place on the front line in however way made possible.
And you all know what?
It doesn't take courage to stand up.
It takes conviction and a selfless heart.
In just the recent time of my having extremely high grade medical cannabis, I have given away 100s of $$ in buds and I have not lost a thing doing so.
I have been rewarded many times over and the blessings and rewards just keep coming.
To see a man who had cancer on his forehead and how it upset him as much as it did, to then see his delight and ease in seeing the cancer gone...in just three short days.
Seeing destructive behavior in an individual who now smokes the best there is and as a result drinks far less and their destructive behavior patterns weaken.
Talk about payment in full....knowing others are well and their lives so improved is worth paying good money for any time.
I know Rick has been and is continuing to be blessed for his work and those that take up along with him are blessed as well.
I cannot help but to feel so ''lucky'' as to be placed where I am in my life as it is now.
What amount of money could ever bring about such joy and excitement when another is healed, cured of a deadly decease?
Still no word on the Dispensary?
I have a NM MMC. I am very interested in starting a despencery.
Doobee, I appreciate your candor and point of view.
Having moved to NM from CA just in time to take advantage of the new Medical Cannabis law going in to effect (june 2007), I feel privileged to be Qualified Patient number 132. I have been a mmj patient since 2004. Having been in the CA system as long as I was I have a keen insight in comparing the WIDE OPEN "dispensary" system in CA to the slow-growing, thoughtful process here in NM. Dispensaries in CA were always in the news for good or bad. There were legitimate, professionally operated dispensaries and there were "Pot Clubs"--essentially lounges for using cannabis. NM would best be served by keeping the "Pot Club" approach far away from the program here. These places invite scrutiny from law enforcement both federal and local. As you know, the last thing that a patient needs is more hoops to jump through and legal entanglements are formidable hoops.
There is an approved grower in NM as we speak. There will be distribution within the next 6-8 weeks to most of the state by delivery from qualified caregivers. The wait is almost over and as more patients become qualified, the steps these first providers have taken will benefit all of us. Nothing of quality happens instantly. We should be thankful that we live in a State that is at least compassionate enough to tackle this issue.
well it happened to no surprise to us, but they are out of Herb
first dispensary to open and sell herb is out. It has been 3 years now, and its is still a bunch of BS to get a card, and when you do, you still have to go search on the street or, on campus. thats just great. I have people contacting me to hook them up, and I have no where to send them, makes me feel messed up not being able to help those that need it most. I dont have herb since about Friday, and I am glad that I dont need it medically at the moment, but who knows what tomorrow or even the next hours brings. I qualify for medical, but it is a bunch of BS, even if you qualify, their is much more to it. And to those that need herb now, what of them. I was better connected when I was more on the illegal side, at least then I had a place to send those who asked.
ahh what ever..........
