Shov's Grow Log 2/2009

Some bud pics. I got around three oz of top buds and two oz of lower buds from the three clones. The Z10 will harvest tomorrow.

Just starting week 3. Mixed a new batch of soil (my other batch is in the barn, frozen solid). Transplanted into larger pots.

All the young plants are doing very well except for the NCDG, 0/5 germination directly in pots of seed-starter, 75-80º temps. Huh.

I stumbled across Mr Nice Seeds 'Neville's Haze' for sale this am! They are pricey, but I couldn't help myself. I have to know what this strain is all about. I don't know when I'll be able to grow them out as I have a full house right now for the next 12+ weeks. Maybe this summer indoors?

The plants are looking great. Two SSH were FIMed at the 5 or 6 nodes (the third SSH is two weeks behind as it took that much longer to find it's way out of the soil). These plants have distinctive sativa leaves, a great surprise since I grew two generations of Neville's Haze and I was still waiting for a sative pheno. From what I've read, it's a good idea to start training and topping early on, like the third full node. These are quite a bit larger, I hope I can control these sativas in a grow full of indica doms.

I am hoping to train the indicas as I did my last bunch, one week of serious LST before I flip 'em. :smokin:

The plants are doing well. The soil wss a little 'hot' in the beginning so there are early leaves burned off.

Blueberry. there are 9 of them out of nine seeds (I lost one seed while planting. ???)

Mazar -I- Sharif. Only three of the ten germinated but they are fine.

Super Silver Haze. Great to see them skinny leaves! I got two to sprout out of five, then two weeks later a third popped. I FIMed the two earlier ones and will do the third at the third node in a couple of days.

Dying to see how that SSH works out. Have some unsexed seeds that I want to try.

I've read only good things about this strain. It is reported to have three or more phenos, yet none are bad. I'll be regularly looking back at SSH grows on many sites to see what the experienced growers do. That is why I topped them already.

I'm really shittin a brick waiting for sex on them though. Remember I had two nice sativas, Sweet Bud. They were nice, males. :mad:
